USC's first year starter threw for 366, in mostly obvious passing situations.
The A&M defense is still suspect as hell, and will capitulate vs the better offenses in the SEC.

This was two bad defenses and one ok offense. If the SC secondary was close to as good as ours this game would have been competitive.
I say that aTm loses 3 of 4, and possibly 4 of 5 right before playing LSU.

#1 what the hell does money have to do with it. LSU's athletic dept. makes and has made over quite a long period more than A&M's. hell, their dept. was in the red just a few years ago and had to borrow money from the school. even so, we can afford the same facilities and generate more money than they do. actually, our facilities were much better until just recently when they began to seriously improve theirs to equal ours.
#2- texas talent; they can only sign 25 per year just like us. our recruiting classes have been just as good or better than theirs. yes, they have improved theirs a lot but they still are NOT BETTER.
#3- we have the SEC brand to sell too.
it sounds like you are buying what the aggies are selling. to them, moving to the SEC was a big step forward but LSU, Bama, UGA, UF, etc has just as many resources and that same brand to sell.
so A&M is on the upswing. maybe this time it is genuine because every other time they've done that they were caught cheating by the ncaa and got busted back. if they are actually not cheating they will be competitive with the other SEC powers.
to anoint them as the SEC standard bearer is bull shite. an irresistible force and LIKELY to dominate? c'mon man, you are delusional as hell and probably an aggie in disguise.
