Authentic Mexican food is bland and hot. Was very disappointed when I lived in NM. Couldn't wait to eat good ole spicy tex-mex when I moved back to la.

There's not very many Hispanics in East Tennessee at all so I'm not surprised by those numbers for UT. I'm half Hispanic with one of the many common Hispanic last names ending in "ez" and since moving from California to Tennessee I've probably had my last name pronounced incorrectly 50% of the time. Not because they are rude, but just because it's not something they are used to seeing around here. It's a very prominent Scotch/Irish area which I enjoy outside of the constant mispronouncing of my last name. By and large this area has the nicest people that I've ever met though so I don't hold it against them

Maybe because they use up more than their share of local city services and because they want locals to patronize many of their business activities, and finally because they constantly involve themselves in local politics by spewing a leftist agenda.

If they are so concerned about what we think, then maybe they should enroll more locals!

Taco Bell Buys The Liberty Bell
In an effort to help the national debt, Taco Bell is pleased to announce that we have agreed to purchase the Liberty Bell, one of our country's most historic treasures. It will now be called the "Taco Liberty Bell" and will still be accessible to the American public for viewing. While some may find this controversial, we hope our move will prompt other corporations to take similar action to do their part to reduce the country's debt.

In a separate press release, Taco Bell explained that the Liberty Bell would divide its time between Philadelphia and the Taco Bell headquarters in Irvine. It compared the purchase to the adoption of highways by corporations. Taco Bell argued that it was simply "going one step further by purchasing one of the country's greatest historic treasures." The company boasted, "Taco Bell's heritage and imagery have revolved around the symbolism of the bell. Now we've got the crown jewel of bells."
