As well they should, imo. You dont give Saban money to an "up and coming" HC yet untested by an SECw schedule

Only LSU since they set their bench mark as program with beating Bama/Saban.

The rest of the west is filled with reasonable realistic people who see what Saban has built and know that you can still achieve goals with out having to go through Bama to do it. Which is different than having a sense of entitlement of beating Saban/Bama like you are their equals or in fact better than they are.

Auburn is different to an extent because its a rivalry game, it isn't demanded to beat Bama every year but you know you have a good shot every game no matter who the coach is because of what the game means to every one in the program. If it was all that mattered, Tubs would not had been fired when he was, the streak would had bought him at least one more year at Auburn.
