It kinda seems like LSU is the reason Herman isn't at LSU

Herman is a wildcard. Can he turn the dumpster fire that is Texas around?
Only time will tell.

Herman wanted Texas from day one. LSU was a pawn. I'm afraid however, that Texas may be looking again in 3 years.

Yea. It's like Georgia jumped on Kirby when they thought someone else was going to hire him.

Yes, had Cholly won 7 games this year he'd be safe and Herman would be at LSU.

Only Fisher was worth that kind of money.

If you have to ask, you can't afford it.

LSU had to ask.

Maybe. I think the Saban factor is a bigger deal than many people think for a coach to come to LSU, Auburn, A&M, etc

Yeah, as a coach, you don't want to be judge by how you perform against Saban. Texas had the advantage of being in the big 12. Herman thought he could dominate there. He would not dominate in the SEC until, at least, Sabah retires.

Hell, strong would probably still have a job for another year if he just beat Kansas.
