Alabama’s shocking Super Bowl scoring shutout will extend another year. Amazingly, there is still something no player who ended his college career playing for the Crimson Tide has done: score a point in a Super Bowl.

Like the third or fourth time it’s been posted, and what a dumb caveat.

I feel like I’m having deja vu. If a response thread pops up about Super Bowl MVPs it will feel like the twilight zone.

Hurts is considered Bama and I assume that’s who he also claims. Yes, that’s a silly *

DISCLAIMER:
Stabler's and Starr's TD passes do not count

Hurts 3 running TDs are debatable but even if you count those, That's only 18 points for the Tide it still puts them behind Kansas, Louisiana Tech, Tulane and James Madison

If you don't count quarterbacks.

What a gay arse made up stat.

Even if Auburn only has 4 points?
T-137. Auburn, Baylor: 4 points

Matt Bryant (Baylor) boots a third quarter field goal during Super Bowl LI at NRG Stadium. Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

Auburn and Baylor have had players score but neither program has reached the actual end zone. Al Del Greco (Auburn) scored four points for the Titans in Super Bowl XXXIV. Matt Bryant (Baylor) scored four in Atlanta’s collapse back in Super Bowl LI.

That's a very weird not to see Alabama on that particular list. Now do Heismans and All-Americans and conference championships and national championships.

The best players in college typically go to the worst NFL teams. It’s not rocket science. Plus we know it’s all rigged for the Chiefs now anyway.

I guess we should just shut the program down.

It's fricking retarded.

By this metric, Tom Brady never scored a point in a Super Bowl.

Just ignore his 20+ passing TDs.

You are right and I was wrong. In those days the NFL Championship game was the game. Took a few more years before AFL was accepted as legit. Namath with his,
"I guarantee" game turned the corner.
