Most likely. It's not like Saban, Spurrier, Meyer, etc. requires all of their recruits to be from a middle class family with no exposure to criminal activity. We all recruit the same players. The difference is that Saban and co. teaches discipline. The most Richt does is probably read a verse from the Bible.

ESPN has to lead the pack in the "number of people whose press conferences we've carried who've ended up arrested" category.

Serious question.

Richt seems like a really good Christian family man, why does he continue to take so many low/questionable character kids at Georgia?

Is it a Florida State thing he learned from Bowden?

Ignorant in what sense? If you're talking about Richt's disciplinary policy then yes I admit that I do not know much and my statement was of pure ignorance. But if I'm being ignorant in the sense of religion then there's no basis on that accusation. I'm not attacking Christianity or being offensive to Christians in anyway. Don't take it too seriously; in no way did that statement translate to "Christians are horrible."

We ALL recruit from the same pool of players.

Bama is just as vulnerable as the next program. When you're dealing with a bunch of kids you never know what you are gonna get.

I can't believe UGA fans still tolerate Richt. He'd be ran out of Baton Rouge or Tuscaloosa by now IMO.

The same reason every other coach in the SEC would have taken Crowell. He was a talented football player.

Richt seems to have disciplined Crowell and Crowell chose to ignore him. That isn't Richt's fault, it is Crowell's.

I'm not sure that's possible. If it is, yalls blessings have been using the same disguise for 3 years in a row so you should get wise

Agree 100%... We are not recruiting Choir Boys (Bear Bryant Quote?)

Exactly. Every school has these players on their team. Some get caught publicly, some get caught and are handled more privately, and some are just lucky enough to never get caught.
