quote:Dude, y'all exceeded expectations your first year in the brutal SEC. Congrats.
So first it's "A&M won't sniff a bowl," then it's "A&M won't beat anyone with a pulse," now--after implicitly conceding elite-status doesn't require a MNC--you're alluding that, despite earning 11 victories (including oneover the national champions), the Heisman Trophy, and a top 5 finish, A&M still hasn't got close to winning "something."
Mmmk.
Excuse us old time SEC folks from giving you too much credit for it though. We've seen so damn many "flash in the pan" coaches over the years in this conference that we're skeptical until proven otherwise.
I mean Gene Chizik went 14-0 and won a damn NC and he is now considered a one hit wonder, and finds his arse unemployed today. Tuberville/Nutt/Petrino - - all had good to great years in the SEC at some point, the list goes on and on.

And let's not forget his best achievement, getting Aggy a long awaited Super Bowl Championship.
To be fair, beating Bama in T-town would be anyone's SB.

I would put the job Bill O'Brien did as the best coaching job of 2012.

Yea, no. Fat frick has conference championships in a BCS league. In fact, in his career as a HC Johnelle has more conference championships than KS.
