So less white students even though UGA is getting harder to get into and rankings are going up. Proves that less white is all the media and academia care about. Our student body will look like Tech in a few years. Damn the Georgia Way and our traditions and culture since the school was founded in the 1700s.

Well if the "less white" thing is bothering you...

Then you should really be bothered by how "less white" your football team is than in the old days.

You know I just posted this because everyone seems to be in a mood this summer. I don't think this has any bearing on anything. I have met community college drop outs who were way smarter than Harvard grads. I was surprised that some of my profs at UF could even tie their shoes in the morning.

These are public state schools in rural states (other than Vandy, obviously). They should have high acceptance rates.

Wut? This isn't correct at all.

First off, you have to be in the top 10% and that has now moved to top 6% for acceptance.

It is and you are confused, You reference % rank in your public school class to receive auto-admission.

The school received 66,000 applications and admitted 19,000.

University of Oklahoma = 80.4%

I know it's been a while, but I'd guess that this has got to be an all-time low. When I was attending, I would have guessed a 100% acceptance rate at the time.

Left off of the earlier Big Ten list, Northwestern at 7%.

No, John Sharp, a jackass two bit politician and system chancellor, who craved the good will that Bowen Loftin(former president who is responsible for the Ags going to the SEC) was garnering because of the move and forced Loftin out. Sharp is an idiot whose only goal is to increase enrollment, at the expense of quality, is hated by all Aggies.

ETA

Sharp the idiot, in an effort to increase wokeness, also brought in the woke commie former President John Young, worst system president ever. Thank goodness the alumni ran that turd off!

Actually A&M's endowment is under $3M. They deceivingly report assets from The University PUF, of which UT established and built to great fame by discovering oil on State assigned lands in West Texas aka the University Lands.

Assets of the PUF dumbfrick.

And Texas A&M has a separate endowment with $2.3 Billion in Assets. That is an easy google search as well.

Thank you for making my point.

There's not an SEC school with an endowment under $3M.

You never considered the obvious typo? Now onto the points, let's here a real rebuttal.

Actually the tougher acceptance rate schools are also the most woke schools, who bow down to rich white people and then affirmative action

Wokeness is in every single institution with the exception of some private Christian universities. You just don't hear about it as much for less renowned universities than you do for highly selective ones.

I've been on four different campuses in the past year in the Northeast and Midwest, and each one of them had tampons available in the men's bathrooms. Absolute insanity.

I think those were Fall 2021 acceptance rates. Tennessee's Fall 2023 rate has dropped significantly (according to this article).

It is showing for Fall 2023, in-state acceptance has dropped to 59.4%, and out-of-state has dropped to 33.3%. The same report showed Fall 2022 at 71.2% in and 67.2% out and the overall Fall 2022 acceptance rate was 68.4%.

Acceptance rate plummets by nearly 30% in most competitive year in UT history
