Then they should do away with polls altogether. The only poll that should count is the playoff poll. And if that's the case Bama would have wins over the #2 and #4 teams respectively.

...also, if the real truth was told, there's not a team in the country that a coach would hate to play more than Alabama. Alabama destroys teams' confidence and self respect the way they pound and bully them into submission.
I've always thought that it was stupid for coaches to schedule their open date before Alabama. Hell, they need their open date directly after the Bama game to give the coaches time to rebuild the self esteem and confidence that Alabama took from them.

They played literally the hardest path that they could play in the SEC.

Correct. That they COULD play.

Only problem is that the path was still a weak one.

Best case scenario, Florida finishes #23 in the AP... here would be the "SEC Runners-Up" listed in order of ranking going back to 2006 (final rankings):

2009 Alabama played #3 Florida
2012 Alabama played #5 Georgia
2013 Auburn played #5 Missouri
2008 Alabama played #6 Alabama
2007 LSU played #12 Tennessee
2014 Alabama played #14 Missouri
2006 Florida played #15 Arkansas
2011 LSU played #19 Georgia
2010 Auburn played #22 South Carolina
2015 Alabama played #23 Florida

So Bama will in all likelihood have played the weakest opponent in Atlanta of any SEC Champ during the same time period.

One last way to look at it. Take all the SEC Champs since 2006 and give them points for each opponent they played (prior to the bowls) that finished in the AP Top 25. Playing #1 gets you 25 points, #2 24 points, etc.

SEC Champs path to an SEC Title:

2013 Auburn- 60 points (#5 Mizzou, #7 Bama, #14 LSU, #18 A&M)
2010 Auburn- 59 points (#8 LSU, #10 Bama, #12 Ark, #15 MSU, #22 SCar, #22 SCar again
2011 LSU- 59 points (#4 Oregon, #5 Ark, #17 WVU, #19 UGA)
2012 Alabama- 56 points (#5 UGA, #5 A&M, #14 LSU, #24 Michigan)
2006 Florida- 55 points (#3 LSU, #9 Auburn, #15 Ark, #23 UGA, #25 UT)
2007 LSU- 55 points (#9 VT, #12 UT, #13 UF, #15 Auburn)
2009 Alabama- 54 points (#3 Florida, #10 Virginia Tech, #17 LSU, #20 Ole Miss)
2008 Florida- 50 points (#6 Bama, #13 UGA, #14 OM, #21 FSU)
2014 Alabama- 40 points (#11 MSU, #14 Mizzou, #17 OM, #22 Auburn)
2015 Alabama- 23 points (#11 OM, #22, Wisconsin, #23 UF, #25 UT)

So prior to last season, the previous 8 SEC Champs scored an average of 56 points each... ranging between 50 and 60 points each time.

Then in 2014, Bama scored a 40. And this season looks poised to finish at best just a 23. Again, that assumes Ole Miss finishes #11, Florida #23 and UT #25. That's about the best case scenario for each of those teams.

As I said, Bama got the easiest path to an SEC Title that any Champion has had in probably 2 decades... at least during this current run of success beginning in 2006.

I agree that there was not an "elite team" they had to beat, but I think this year's schedule was tougher than last years and definitely and deeper than 2009 (for us, at least).

2009 Regular Season
vs 9-4 LSU
@ 9-4 Ole Miss
vs 8-5 Arkansas
@ 8-5 Auburn
@ 5-7 Mississippi State
@ 7-6 Kentucky
vs 7-6 Tennessee

2014 Regular Season
@ 7-6 Tennessee
vs 10-3 Mississippi State
@ 9-4 Ole Miss
vs 8-5 Auburn
@ 8-5 LSU
vs 8-5 Texas A&M
@ 7-6 Arkansas

2015 Regular Season
vs 10-3 Ole Miss
@ 10-3 Georgia
vs 9-3 LSU
vs 9-4 Tennessee
@ 9-4 Mississippi State
vs 8-5 Arkansas
@ 8-5 Texas A&M
@ 7-6 Auburn

The problem with you system above is it treats #26 the same as #126. Solid 8-4 teams on the road are much better than 3-9 teams. That should be given some weight. That is what this years schedule tough. We didn't have a single gimmee game all season in the league. Not one.

I've got to give credit where it's due...

Alabama and ESPN have done a remarkable job marketing Saban and his program to the point that people actually believe the garbage you just spewed....

You haven't seen anything close to the offensive firepower you'll see Monday night....

Chad Kelly couldn't crack our two deep and he was easily the best QB in that mighty conference of yours and he torched the Alabama secondary....

2011 LSU should have 25 more points. And take Bama out of all of those other teams paths and see how they look then. Bama can't play Bama.

Chad Kelly will be a first or second round draft pick after next season. If he wasn't on your two deep maybe that's on your coaches

Save that garbage for the Danny Kanell call-in show.

Is that why the SEC east champ got demolished by a team that couldn't win an ACC division?

Could you name a conference championship game loser that won their bowl game this year for me please?

Bama has a way of breaking teams. People come on here and talk shite about how strong their teams are and how they will motorboat the tide. How does that work out? When is the last time that we got beat by 14 points? If by the mid third quarter the clumpson linemen are standing at the line with their hands on their hips, they are broken. We win big.

Bama by 7. Give the points.

Anybody in the SEC is gonna have a stronger schedule most likely.
If I'm say Ohio State and I play the winner of this game I want Clemson. That says it all regardless of schedule.
