We all know the real answer is Geoff Ketchum bumping up the rankings of recruits the second they showed interest in Mack Brown and tu. Fan boy Ketchum got so bad that Mack eventually wound up with a top 5 class each year on paper that wasn't more than a top 35 class in reality. Ketchum's hands are filthy in this, but Mack's aren't clean either, he got lazy by just trusting a biased tainted sources rankings.

Then Deloss went senile and destroyed the big 12 pushing to the brink of not being even considered a power five conference

Pretty good take at that, but not the answer.

The answer is Mack Brown. He built it up, he let it rot from within, then he flicked some matches at it on his way out the door.

Mack Brown was 9-4 and 8-5 his final years.

Ketchum didn't act alone. Bobby Burton still pulls the same shite on 247.

You and your legions of mental midgets keep parroting that lie, but we are not a branch of your school. You can dig up 150 year old documents and such, but there is no one with a brain in the state government or in the administration of either university that shares your view.

Go stick one of your orange didldos up your arse and have a wild Saturday night. You know you'd like it.

You're right, my mistake. Mack was great. You guys should hire him once Sumlin is finished caking his pants.

Mack Brown is one of the coaches that influenced Bob to retire. In their phone call, Mack admitted that he'd grown tired of coaching at that level and the demands it requires.

He let the lunatics run the asylum down there and the systemic rot that took place is what damaged UTs program.

I think he'll end up at another school in a year or two. That's how coaches like him do.

Who Bob?

No chance of that happening. He has a job with the University and he's staying in Norman. If he ever coaches again, it'll be 8th grade basketball.
