At least they were in the game with a chance to extend the streak. All of the rest of the conference's elite teams - LSU, Bama, Florida, UGA - didn't even make it there, so technically we all broke the streak.

Wasn't like we embarrassed the SEC other than blowing a huge lead. I mean it sucks and we will have to live with it but it is better than the SEC being "exposed" by 2 TDs like 99% of the media and Vegas predicted

Auburn did not just blow a lead,they gagged under pressure. I give the Mason kid a lot of credit he showed me something but the defense just flat out choked the game away.

Can't believe Bama's offense, special teams, AND defense choked away the Iron Bowl
They straight up gagged under pressure...had to get one yard on the ground against our terrible defense and couldn't...then allowing the tying touchdown with 28 seconds left?
I won't even talk about what happened next

Bama aways seems to find a way to lose to decent AU teams. My theory is they ain't man enough to stand up to a decent AU team.

If Malzahn can take an 8-4 team to a SEC champioinship and 13 seconds away from a national title, it bodes pretty damn well for the future of Auburn football

Extremely poor coaching and preparation I would say. Let years IB was hyped for weeks as the biggest IB ever. It may have been the most watched IB ever as well.
