i wish y'all played somebody too. your ooc schedule is embarassing. it amazes me to compare LSU and FLORIDAS schedule with the aggies and bama. it's like y'all are damn near in a different conference. and spurriers right about the schedule making a big damn diffenence. lastly, y'all have never had a coach that could wear his damn jock. the ole ball coach is a legend and rightly so.

Hate out OOC schedule, but these are done years in advance. Also, Louisville wouldn't play us if I remember correctly

Still got what? Last time I checked he's never won anything of importance at SC.

The ole ball coach wasn't saying Texas A/M as a team is lacking. He was simply was pointing out your non conference schedule is a joke, which it is. And also because the Aggies left the big 12 conference, the powers that be in Texas are acting like babies and pouting. But then again there all conservatives down there.

Ok, sure. Oversimplify the complexity of what went on.

Everyone knows there was a lot more to it than aTm saying "we're leaving" and texas replying "well go to hell we never want to play you again."

You can't be that naive.

I'm old enough to remember like it was yesterday when SCAR bailed on the ACC and I can guarantee you that nothing in the history of college football was more contentious or complicated than that, yet we still play one another. Ga Tech and UGA is another example.

Now, the ACC, much like what the punk BIG 12 officials did, tried to mandate that no ACC team play SCAR, including Clemson, but NC State told them to pound sand and so did everyone else eventually. Plus, our state legislators moved quickly to inact a law requiring SCAR and Clemson to play every year and I believe we are now the second oldest continuous rivalry game in the country.

You would be able one more L in the loss column jackmeister...USCs defense would rip 20 yr old Johnnys head off and take turns peeing down his neck.

Be careful of what you wish for.

South Carolina's Oline would annihilate aTm up front.

And if you're gonna schedule like a little bitch , don't get upset when other coaches in the league call you out for being a little bitch, bitch.

Did you see who Texas A&M plays out of conference [Rice, Sam Houston State, SMU and UTEP]? That’s embarrassing. They don’t play Texas anymore because they both got mad at each other. To me, that’s childish.

I thought A&M was going to win the West, the SECC and the Big Enchilada.

Love it.

I know Texas is to blame but just love the OBC speaking his mind with reckless abandon.

True.

That 2010 Bama team Spurrier beat was pretty awful.

And it's not like Spurrier is single handedly responsible for taking Florida and Carolina to new heights those programs had never known before.

Even though I've always respected Spurrier and been proud of him as a fellow Tennessean and even warmed up to him as the years have gone by. This just made my head explode:

quote:

ESPN: Having attended high school in Johnson City, Tenn., did the fact that Tennessee was still running the single-wing offense keep you from seriously considering the Vols?

SS: I think that’s where I probably would have gone in a heartbeat if they had been running a different offense. I grew up a Tennessee fan, but Bowden Wyatt was in his last year and they didn’t fire him until after I decided to go to Florida. They were still running the single-wing under the interim coach [Jim McDonald] before Doug Dickey came that next year. So if Dickey had come a year earlier, I might have been a Vol.

No wonder he hasn't picked on us since we've been sucking. He's still a fan deep down. Even so, my entire world has been shattered.
