There's a lesson to be learned here.
If you are going to get shite faced and yell obscenities at a booster event before the season, you had damned sure win MOST of your games and had sure as hell better not lose to a mid tier conference foe.

my guess he had a tight rope and based on the AD's investigation today he violated the no drinking at work and around the players or coming to work smelling of alcohol. So he had every chance in the world. I am sure this was the last straw and the firing was warranted.
