The kid (grown man) has earned it. Worked his tail off to get where he is and I hope they make a movie out of his journey.

That's great - he and Duggan are very well deserving of a trip to New York. I'm sure Stetson won't win, and probably shouldn't, but he's earned the spotlight that this brings with it and that trip. Great season, great career, great story.

Hell yea!
Imagine if he got to throw in the 2nd half of the vol and lsu games. Garbage time essentially killed his shot to win this award.

1. “Zero future” = your subjective speculation. Thankfully, college football doesn’t award Heismans based on likelihood of NFL success (e.g., Tim Tebow)
2. “Below average” = objectively false by every metric.
3. “Better than 3-1 ratio” = a statistic that falls in his favor.
4. “Without ___” = absurd speculation on your part, and also irrelevant. Do we analyze RBs without their offensive line or the value of WRs without a good QB? Stet has turned three-star Ladd into a top receiver.
