WED NITE UPDATE
UF and UGA take it on the chin against very good teams... both good losses. These are meaningless unless there are some good wins. Come on guys pick it up... especially UF Donovan does not like that team.
Aub, Mizzou and USCe all pick up wins.. none of them were good wins but awburn got a power 5 win at least.
eta: Arky fans are still trying to make the SMU game a big win... please stop.. you're embarrassing yourselves.

Serious question, do you think Bama could go on the road @SMU and win? Because only two teams have done it the past two years. Louisville and Arkansas.

Arkansas hasn't been relevant since the mid 90's.

The SEC is Kentucky, Arkansas, & Florida. Sorry to burst your bubble. Alabama does not have a higher win percentage than Arkansas.
Arkansas has a win percentage of 64% over 90 years of basketball. In the SEC, that is ONLY behind Kentucky, who has played basketball 111 years and has a win pct. of 76%

1st beating an average at best SMU at their place is not better than losing to a top 15 team... and yes I believe Bama would win at SMU. I don't think Arky is any better than Bama either... didn't we beat you by 25 at our place and lose to you at your place last season? We've gotten a lot better. So why wouldn't I think we could beat SMU.
Hawgeye you haven't been in the SEC 90 years.. have you even had a relevant season since Nolan left?
eta: Arky has not been higher than 2nd in the west since Nolan and have only achieved that twice. Nice try but, the glory days have been over a long time.. it's funny how arkies love throwing themselves in the top at the mere semblance of a good team.

Almost as funny as bammers saying their basketball team is relevant. Arkansas has more wins in the decade of the 90s than any team in the country. Try that one on for size

I doubt Alabama would win at SMU. SMU is a very talented team.
And LOL at Arkansas not being better than Alabama. Do you even have a clue what Arkansas has on its roster this season? Have you forgotten who Alabama's coach is? Alabama has yet to play a road game, something Arkansas has done already and won at a very difficult place to play.

No, Arkansas has not been in the SEC 90 years, but Arkansas has been playing basketball for 90 years, which is relevant to a basketball conversation. Arkansas went to its first Final Four in the 1940's. Alabama has never made the Final Four.
SEC Basketball consists of three programs, Kentucky, Florida, and Arkansas. That's it.

Bama has a player that could be SECPOTY and another that could be newcomer of the year... and one that will be FR all-SEC. This is a much better Bama team than we've had recently.

The rankings have little descriptions next to them... none of them say piggies are better.. you haven't lost to anyone and Bama has a good loss to a tourney lock.. not an almost loss to a "projected" tourney team but, you are playing well so you get the edge...
I do believe Bama is better than arky though but I tried not to be to homerific.
