Big Four leagues
Sincerely asking as I know that’s a hot topic about what is considered a “major sport”

Professional big four leagues: MLB, NFL, NBA, and NHL.

Maybe you are just doing a poor job explaining this, but the math for "big 4" championships doesn't add up. Just with California alone, no other state would have a championship in the big 4.
And how is Georgia not on this list?

Mizzou fans are desperate to attach themselves to the successes of their professional teams.

I've seen multiple LSU posters put LSU football's titles and the Saints Lombardi Trophy on their avatars. Don't be salty that Louisiana is in the single digits in the latter category.

Oh, the South...
.One in each of the major four leagues. The CFP/NY6 format was first used in 2014.
Since you mentioned Georgia, they have 2 CFP championships, but just 2 MLB championships and none in the NFL , NBA, NHL.
Understand ?

Are you saying that Missouri would be better off in the B1G?
If so, I agree 100%.

Does Atlanta get to claim the Calgary Flames since they were the Atlanta Flames first?

Yes, but neither the Flames nor Thrashers won the Cup.

and you're either a LSU alum or fan. Some of us have state pride. You're not good at this.

Honestly, if you are considered "good at this," I don't want to be.
