Not very impressed with MSU so far. Their only quality series win was against USCe.

You do realize we won 40 games with the 5th strongest schedule in America. We swept A&M and Alabama both solid teams and also won series against Florida and Auburn as well as South Carolina. Not to mention all of those teams have top 40 RPI so I guess we did ok.
The series we lost
1-2 vs LSU lost game 1 in extras
1-2 vs Ark loses by 1 and 2 runs
1-2 vs Kentucky ( our worst loss of the year) both losses by 1
1-2 vs Ole Miss at Ole Miss close games
0-3 vs Vandy the are damn good
All very talented teams

Everybody has close losses, that's just baseball. LSU has several 1 run and 2 run losses; it simply doesn't matter, a loss is a loss. Y'all also lost to Central Arkansas. Y'all lost 6 series out of 14 (very unimpressive). I think y'all will win your regional since you host, but I really don't think y'all are winning a super regional.

You still lost. We lost two one run games to Vandy. We still got swept. Most of our 15 losses in the SEC were close losses.
There's a fine line between an 20-10 record and a 16, yet it defines who you are. State will likely advance to a Super, but unless a National Seed screws up, they'll get smoked on the road.

As a SC fan I'm not at all confident going into the postseason since we lost 4 series this year. That tells me team is vulnerable to losing a couple of games in a weekend. MSU lost 6 series this year one to Central Arkansas. I think you guys are bringing up so many topics because you are trying to convince yourselves but that's just my opinion. Neither team is National Championship quality this year!
