This shite is a waste of time. Your team will know how good it is on the field next weekend, not as told by some pathetic number crunching basement dweller.

The only numbers that matter in a matchup are the ones on the scoreboard at the end of the game.

You've spent your entire morning searching for an obscure college football rating website that uses a "different metric rating system" to accumulate a measure of college football rankings?

And yet, we are still better than you.

I figured it out.

Statistics is the science of searching for a set of numbers to prove your point and then liking them.

7/0 I like...

11/1 great

12/0 priceles
See?

Said it before and I will say it again. We all know we haven't played anything close to a tough schedule. Big freakin whoop.

We have won the games on our schedule. It is not our fault Auburn, Tenn and UK suck. By the way, why is UT ranked higher than us even though we beat them? For that reason, this system is stupid.

Fan of the site myself. However, 7 games is too small of a sample size for those statistics to mean anything. Advanced metrics are only useful with a dataset that is sufficiently large (i.e. Evidence of the benefits of going for 4th down more often)

Hilarious thread. If we were as bad as y'all say we were, you wouldn't even bother with this crap. You would just wait for us to lose our last 5, go 7-5 and then say "I told you so". Instead, while we are 7-0 you have to find some way to discredit it because it pisses you off. Especially when you know that the more likely outcome is we go 3-2 or 2-3 over the last five, finish with 9, 10, or 11 wins after a decent to good bowl game, and probably beat OM for the 4th straight time. Please continue making threads like this though, and please keep looking for mathematical formulas to prove we suck. It's entertaining.

Be sure to tune in to ESPN tonight...

Wouldn't want you to miss the highest BCS ranking of any team in the state of Mississippi history...

Stats are a great way to feel good about your team when deep down inside you know they suck. Congratulations, the SEC now has a new improved selection of doormat programs to choose from.

Mississippi and math, intriguing. Final scores and records, only two that matter.

I see you OM fans are fapping to numbers other than Wins and Losses again. You guys roll out new sets of moral victories every day.

We're not fapping to anything. If anybody's fapping, it's y'all. I swear, Oktibbeha County must be knee deep in jizz right now.

I'm just saying, y'all are a good team, but you're not great. All this talk about how you think you're going to beat Alabama is ridiculous.
