I don't assume he's slow because he's white. I assume he isn't a 4.5 guy because he isn't nfl receiver fast. I have watched him play for years.

Sad but true.

We did turnover JFF 6 times, but it's not like we got tore up in between. The last 6 mins were the most epic of failures.

To beat JFF - rush 3 or 4, keep him in the pocket, and make him throw to beat you. LSU did it and it worked. We did it and it worked, LSU just had better athletes to seal the deal.

No, you didn't. Manziel threw 2 picks, and the other 4 turnovers were fumbles. Harris dropped a punt, Swope fumbled, and Melina fumbled. I can't remember who fumbled the 4th time.

I think we will be fine, we handled Denard 2 years ago with slower LB's than we have currently. My biggest concern is Nickoe showing up, he tackled more refs than Bama players this week.

Close... He threw two picks, He fumbled (where if the ball doesn't barely tip the ground trying to regain balance, he scores), Christine Michael fumbled, Swope Fumbled, and harris muffed a punt

I don't think he has the build to support that speed and certainly not with pads on.

MSU doesn't have the athletes on defense that LSU/UF have. They were able to shut out receivers down with their DBs. Also, you put 5> guys in the box, you'll get gashed in the running game. A&M has three very good backs. You saw that in the Auburn game, the run game absolutely dominated. JFF ain't the only rushing weapon we have, and it seems like we're incorporating that more into the offense.

Let's not go full retard now. KJ Wright and Chris White were NFL locks as senior linebackers, both absolute athletic freaks. KJ is on a pro-bowl pace in his 2nd season in the NFL. While I believe all our current linebackers also have a good shot to play in the league, to blindly say they are better than the 2010 group is taking it a bit too far at this point.

You trying to use Auburn as an example is tantamount to us trying to use Middle Tennessee at this point... It is prettymuch inapplicable for comparison purposes.

While we are a step behind LSU and Florida defensively, we are also a step ahead of everyone else you've seen thusfar. As far as DBs go, we take a back seat to no one...

And that is what made it crazy.

We've never had faster closing linebackers than those two...not in my memory anyway. Wells and McKinney have potential to be that, but haven't shown the ability to do it consistently yet.

I don't think Chris was as fast as McKinney. Wells may be the fastest LB we have ever had, the problem is that both of those guys are freshman and haven't faced anything similar to aTm yet. Cam played extensively against Michigan in '10 which at that time played a similar style to aTm if my memory serves me correctly so he should know what's coming.
