Watching that Auburn game, Manziel really didn't start using his legs until he started ripping apart their secondary through the air.
I think he is starting to understand is that passing the ball is what makes his feet so hard to defend. Not to mention, our ground game punished the Auburn as well.
This is offense is not dependent on QB scrambles. If your defense can't stop our WRs or our RBs, it is going to be a long day.
I think it will be a back and forth game though with each team taking turns making plays.

Your defense is good but against bad offenses.
In the mean time we have the #3 scoring offense against an average scoring defense 10 spots better than State.
So ... how is your expectation of putting up over 30 on us when scoring wise the only team to have done so is the #2 scoring offense in the nation?
