It really is obvious and a smart move when you think about it. They don't have the budget that a UT or Alabama does, so they can save money by playing one of these games every year. It's really not a bad idea as long as they don't lose one of these games.

We also agree to local away games to give players families, friends and relatives plenty of availability to see them play in person. Makes all the sense in the world to me. We could easily find a cupcake 500+ miles from here instead of USA but we choose not to.

How have these two threads made you feel?

You are bad and you should feel bad.

I could understand that for basketball players since the roster is much smaller.

What players did Miss State have in Houston and Murfreesboro that their families could see them play in person?

Wait, schedules are done way in advance so how does Miss State know the exact location where the players are going to be from on their roster 5-6 years out?

I think most teams with relative certainty know where 90% of their roster makeup is going to be from.

I know it's different for UT considering you losers got locked out of GA about a decade ago and now get your scraps from whomever will come to your mouth breather of a university.

2 for 1. Free. Guarantees 7 home games every year without having to "buy" anything but the FCS beatdown.

If your AD would schedule a little smarter instead of being consistently dumb enough to continually embarrass the conference in Eugene and Norman maybe we would have seen a UT bowl game this decade.

Can someone please find that video.

it appears it did for you considering your previous post about Miss State playing away games so those players families and friends from that area can see their kids play in person.

Houston, Ruston, and Murfreesboro players on Miss State's team?
