Defensive stat that matters. Points allowed. 17.3 spin that any way you want to make yourself feel better. We have the best QB/ decision maker by far. We have 5 options at Wr/Te that are matchup nightmares. 6"5 Wilson and 6"7 Hutcherson along with Ross, Gray, Myles, Dear. We lost games early trying to run same offense as last year with OL/ Rb issues. We lost because of it. Our OL has to give Dak about 3 seconds of time for us to move the ball. You can look at yard stats all day. Go look at Red zone defense. Look at the size of our DL. You get inside the 10yd line and Our big guys don't budge. There are not the same running lanes as when you were on the 50. This will be a Los game. Just because u dominated LSu OL doesn't mean you will ours. Not because ours is better but because our Offense doesn't run the ball straight at you. It makes your DL play a little more cautious. Bama is the better team but State can win this game if we play our best game.

Well, I hope we don't show with Troy, Kentucky or Missouri's offensive players. That would be a problem.

The concern I have is the State O-line might be a little better at assignments than LSU. One thing that stood out to me, and was very surprising, was the lack of strength that the LSU o-line had. Particularly on passing plays. Every play the LSU o-line was literally being pushed backwards into the QB. From the games I've seen I thought UT had the best o-line and certainly thought Hurd was the best back. He is super slippery and could bounce outside as fast as anyone I've seen. Fournette is big and strong but I dont see the elusiveness. State can give you trouble with Dak the same way UT can with Hurd.

Glad we've established that Bama is the better team no matter what. That way the playoff committee will be justified in only dropping Alabama to 3 or 4 if MSU pulls off the upset. Eye test.
