In the Big 3 sports since Missouri joined the SEC: MS State-11 wins Missouri-2.

God loves Mississippi. We are one of the most charitable states, per capita, than any in the country.

Man, what am I doing in Missouri? I ought to just pack my bags and move to the great state of Mississippi! Let's compare the states:

MISSOURI:

11.6% poverty rate (25th)
9.5% of Missourians have an advanced degree (24th)
86.3% of Missourians are high school graduates (25th)

MISSISSIPPI:

20.1% poverty rate (2nd)
7.1% of Mississippians have an advanced degree (46th)
77.3% of Mississippians are high school graduates (50th)

Boy, Mississippi really sounds like the place to be! Nothing says paradise like poverty and uneducated people!

Nope. That's the state of Mississippi. Your state is literally America's a-hole.

If you throw every State or Ole Miss fan under the bus for our state's poverty statistics then you're a douche.

I love how a discussion on athletics leads to this. State-11 Missouri-2. That's damn embarrassing.

You generalize Mississippi and then get upset at someone for generalizing your university?

Sounds like a typical liberal to me.

He's just been out of his safe space for too long. Anyone from Missouri can't talk shite about any state with all of the nonsense that has gone on in that shithole the last 3 years.

I didn't generalize, I had stats to back it up. If I'm in a room of 25 Mississippians, there are 6 who wouldn't have a high school diploma. That's sad.

I don't believe everybody in Mississippi is a poor, uneducated person, either. I have family that lives down there and they certainly aren't poor or uneducated. But if you can't admit that Mississippi is abnormally poor and uneducated in comparison to other states, then you're lying to yourself.

And it's fine to have some imperfections. I'm not saying at all that MO is perfect. But I'm damn proud of where I live and I don't appreciate the entire state being $hat on because of two liberally-run hellholes (Ferguson and Columbia).

State doesn't have any nattys. Ole Miss has 1 in 1963. But what a lot of people don't realize is back then they didn't have a national championship game like we do now. Back in them days was each sports beat had their #1. So, you could have like 5 national champions pending on what sports beat you want to go by.
