I doubt we make the tournament this year.

Probably not with a loss to us

Huh? I said no team has fallen faster and harder in any sport. Then specifically said 1996. Read closer next time.

But to say they fell harder and faster is not accurate.
They went to NCAA then NIT and returned. But LSU has gone through coaches, hell one left to go to TCU. TCU is a nothing. That tells you how "mighty" LSU has been, as LSU has been to a Final 4 and Sweet 16 since Arkansas has.

Do you understand that Arkansas played in multiple final fours and appeared in back to back title games?
You are proving my point. LSU has had decent season but were never a top 10 team nationally in any period other that single seasons. Arkansas was for nearly 3 decades.

A "commanding" lead? Oh, and change that to 33-27 with another loss coming when you visit Starkville. You rarely beat us there.

As I said you are trolling.
They have gone to sweet 16 with Derek Hood, went to NCAA and Finals of NIT with Ried and Bradley which were after Richardson's Runts in 93-96.
Now the decline began with Adebayo on a bogus probation, then a terrible race based hire of Heath.
But look at LSU since it went to the Final 4 in 06. It is worse than anything that Arkansas went through. Arkansas last 4 coaches have all been to the NCAA tournament.

This won't end well....

No I don't understand since I grew up near Keady, went to school with Sutton, hung out with Day, and know England pretty well.

Again, LSU was never anything of merit in basketball. Try to keep up here. I said no program has fallen faster and harder. Meaning that of all programs who were once great (a national title and multiple final four showings). No program like that has fallen faster and harder. And couple of good comparisons like UNLV and GT makes complete sense. LSU makes 0 sense. Stop trying to make this about LSU.

Okay lets look at UNLV
Look at Georgetown
Look at NC State
Look at Houston
Look at DePaul
They are all in worse shape or same shape as Arkansas and been as bad for longer periods of time.
Again make sure you know where to set your goal post so I know how to respond

And now that makes sense. But NC State and GT have both had more tournament success than Arkansas since Nolan.

Plus I'm just pissed that I was yet again sold a bill of goods by MA in how great this team is. And by all accounts they are pretty damn good so it has to be coaching. But my damn they've also hired Heath and Pelphrey so what are we to expect. Fricking Dana Altman!!!!
Posted on 1/10/17 at 10:43 pm to DAbully
As much as I want to argue with this, I can't. Frick.

Is Anderson gone if Arkansas misses the tournament? Serious question.
One tournament in six years is bad even when compared to Heath and Pelphrey

Might want to take a look a tourney resumes and compare them. Pretty damn close. But you are basing your statement off of the sheer badass ball players that have played for them so I'll give you a pass.
