Cole Gordon could have pitched the whole game.

Too bad the stream didn't cut off this inning instead of the 6th.

Hard to watch. State was playing with such heart. Then it exploded.

If Florida scores 2 more would it be a walk-off run rule?

Do add insult to injury, the person playing music over the loudspeaker is playing "Hurt So Good" by John Mellencamp.

Why'd they pull Gordon on 88 pitches?

Were you people not watching? Cole was a limp noodle when they pulled him. No way he could have gone all the way. Let's not forget he gave up the first hit of the inning.

Hard to watch that. Talk about deflating. Can they piece together 3 more starters to win the tournament?

When you are that short on pitching, you don't have that quick of a hook.

serious question for State fans, what is the postseason expectation this year considering how bad the bullpen is?

I would consider getting to and winning the regional a successful season, considering all of the injuries and all of the players we lost from last year.

I was realistic about the season and predicted any post season being a plus. Achieved. Some of our fans sights were too high and now they blame the coach. From what we lost from last year and having 9 injuries at one time this year, you could have had just as good of a team with those guys alone.
