I always get a good laugh out of people trying to say Tuscaloosa is a crime ridden ghetto. Some of you need to get out more.

The new construction of the stadium was REALLY ugly. No restaurants on your campus except for the subway and generic fast food in the food court..
Oh and you guys tailgate like pussies.

That's about the dumbest critique of a tailgating experience I have ever read on here. We did fine with our tailgate. We have 4 tents together, HDTV, had an Alabama couple join us (husband works with/for one the guys in our group). They stopped in Tuscaloosa and picked up some Dreamland ribs on the way. That was my first time for Dreamland but I think I have done better and I am not what I would consider a rib expert. Wasn't even the best food at the tailgate. We had plenty of food, fun and fellowship, plus a hell of an ending to the UGA/Auburn game.
So if I ever come to UA campus for tailgate, I should look for the closest 5* prime rib joint next to BD?

You'll find some food on the strip, next to the stadium.. You won't have to drive two miles out from the stadium to go get any.

Summary

LSU fans - yea Tuscaloosa is a ghetto shithole !
AU fans - yea it sucks
Ole Miss - Mississippi is really fun ! (Only we can talk shite about our littler brother)

Weird ...who would've thought it would go down like that ?

I personally enjoy the different venues, people ,cultures etc ...each has a little different flavor and I like some more than others but all add to the pageantry that is football in the south .

And I was at the UGA/AU game last night. While walking down Wire Road trying to find something to do in that boring arse town, I had a redneck pull a shotgun out on me and robbed me of my condoms and money.

While trying to get into one of Auburn's three bars in the post-game to celebrate with the Auburn family and laugh at the poor UGA souls, a 500 pound guy told me he raped sheep for a living. He invited me back to his trailer on Wire Road for an animal orgy, but I declined.

Since then, I've realized Auburn is only fun for the football experience. Other than that, the tailgating and nightlife blows. Worst. Experience. Ever!!!!11

Eager to get out, I had an Auburn grad who invented a teleportation device, teleport me to Starkville and realized I should have stayed in Auburn. Starkville reminded me of the third world country I visited while on a mission trip with the Roman Catholic Church. Also worst experience evah!!11

Are you talking about the fricking student Union? Name one fricking school anywhere that has 5* dining in their student union. If you were actually there and could have walked you fat arse 1/4 mile from the stadium across the footbridge and into the Cotton District you could have had more good dining and pussy than you could have thrown a stick at. But I sense you probably aren't that in to pussy and your measuring stick for awesome is some overrated place like Dreamland. But then again I doubt you even went.

Our stadium is in the middle of our campus. We didn't build it on the edge like Bama did. We don't have city businesses butting up to it. I guess for your fat-arse sidewalk fan base this is the best scenario. So you don't have to walk too far and get rubbed raw between your legs.

Bama fans sure are butthurt over an ugly win. Sorry you lost your whole weeks pay because we played you so close. You shouldn't bet all 350 bucks of your paycheck

Basically this. A 15 minute walk from the stadium, gets you the cotton district which has everything you could really want for pre/post game activities.

OP, I am sorry that our campus is designed to be an effective university as opposed to a themepark for people who never attended.

You are ignorant.

If you didn't have fun in Starkville, then that shite is on you.

Good people, great food, fun tailgating, and football.

Get over yourself and get over the fact that we played terrible. Act like you've been there before.

Oh, and please don't come back to Starkville. We have enough Bama fans giving us bad names over here.

Fat? Funny I'm not fat. What's really funny is fans of Piss St. Calling me fat, when you live in the most obese state of the country.
