look up a guy named Ray Graves. He did a lot to help build it up to what it was in the 60's before stupid old Dickey.

Florida no doubt had some good years here and there. I wasn't saying that the didn't. I never said they sucked. But they were never a consistently dominant program until the 90s.

Agree?

I would say Florida was a SC, always on the cusp, but never could win it.

What really gets me about 84 is that other teams that had been on a bowl ban (like 57 Auburn) got to keep their SEC title, but they did the retroactive treatment to us.
I was barely alive when it happened yet it still bothers the shite out of me. I guess it's to me what the 66 screwjob is to Bama fans.

Yep.

84 was because the stupid Tennessee president bitched about it behind the scenes.

90 I believe was because UF was still on probation.

85 was the same situation as 90, we had the best conference record but were on probation/bowl ban/whatever.

not even close. Spurrier was/still may be the best coach in college football. Also, that was Tim Tebow that lead the greatest run in Florida history (even if Chris Leak won the first one, I mean, they (ESPN) still credit Tebow for that).

Spurrier is the favorite of UF fans and there's no doubt about that.

He won't be President of The University however. That's silly.

Someone was making a funny.
