Steve Spurrier is most definitely not a sports administration guru. He's a football coach. I like the man a lot. I think he'd be a terrible AD. And he's 70 years old. Does anybody think he'd really dedicate most of his waking hours to UT sports outside of football?
I do not believe he's interested nor do I believe the UT System is that stupid.

Yes, actually.
His degrees are in Recreation Administration and Public Administration. He was also an assistant AD at NC State before he came to Carolina.
