or someone with a famous last name that cant coach his way out of a paper bag. or maybe even a guy that lets the boosters make all football related decisions. them whammo, right back to mediocre. this scenario actually worries me about my beloved crimson tide

Is he that much of an attention seeker? Just go away, you quit on your team.

He's trying to do damage control and make it look like he did a good thing. He is a fricking quitter and will always be remembered as a quitter that walked out on his players when it got tough. Not the kind of guy you want to be in a fox hole with.

I'm sure Spurrier is sitting in the lounge at Augusta National right now drinking a Coors Light and sobbing because you think he is a pussy. Hell he may just drive to your trailer park tonight and ask to look at your Heisman Trophy and National Championship ring just to cheer himself up.

Weren't you one of the Bama fans who always foamed at the mouth at any mention of Spurrier because of how he would talk about Saban? Are you trying to tell us you actually had respect for him before?

He spent his entire career running up scores and taking shots at opposing coaches and schools, however when times got too tough for him he quit like a little bitch.

His whole career? Pretty sure we weren't running the scored up on anyone while he was here, which was pretty much half his career. He took plenty of beatings while he was here, like the first game at Auburn when he got here. Not sure why you seem so butthurt over him stepping down. Still angry about the coloring books comment or something?

Spurrier's idea of a fox hole is a bunker at Amen Corner. So yes I would gladly share a fox hole with him.

Spurrier needs to sign up for an account with TD if he is an attention seeker and wants to remain in sports without getting his arse beat regularly.

Is ol' dead cock available?

I respect him, he wasn't getting it done. He could have stayed and collected a check. I wish Miles would learn from him.

An 80% 10 year survival rate is phenomenal. I could look up exceptions to almost any medical condition.
