SI just calling LSU fans whiny bitches like everybody else knows. And kinda calling Les one, too. I think that part was harsh, and uncalled for.

Both 74 and 70 do that.

The officials did everything in their power to assure an Alabama victory but if they want Bama to get by MSU and Auburn they will need to be even more corrupt.

SEC officials are the only group of people lower than Bama fans.

That last statement was irony, right?

Correct, I'll admit that mistake but the rest of my post still stands.

All of the Gumps here defending it just reinforces what we already know.

LSU was better and gave it away

We can still hope that Bama tanks end of year again.

Only call I was iffy on was that personal foul. I get why the refs called, just felt like its a chippy game, and it did change the game whether you want to admit it or not. However at the same time if he just lets it go we're fine, so it goes both ways for me. LSU fricked up in the last minute, plain and simple. It's a young team, and young teams do stupid shite that makes you tear your hair out.

As far as SI goes, ever since their attempt to get Okla St. in trouble with the NCAA for false accusations I haven't really been able to take them seriously either.

LSU gave it away, that's for sure. I don't know that LSU was better, but even if they were, now you know how Bama felt after the GoTC.

Anybody checked on Fournette today?

First off, the last play of the game was perfect coverage by Jones. There was however, pass interference by the LSU receiver. He pushed off not one time but three times and got away with it (go watch the replay if you don’t believe me). I also think BOTH teams got away with pass interference several times during this game.

Here's the unsportsmanlike conduct case that Miles says changed the game. Don't see how you can say that was the wrong call. Vidal clearly shoves the Alabama player. There was extra curricular going on with both sides, but everybody knows the guy who swings the second punch gets called.

Here's the final play. You see contact between both Dupre and Jones. The ball hits the defender's helmet and bounces before the other defender makes contact with Dupre. Again, the refs made the correct no-call. The video shows that Dupre's claim that Jones had both his hands is pure bullshite. If that was the case, how the hell did Dupre have both his hands above Jones's helmet? shite, if he'd reached up a little more, he could have caught the under thrown ball before it bounced off Jones's helmet.

Even if Dupre had caught it, they could have called holding on every o-lineman except the center.

Sorry, the refs made the right calls.

This "woe is me," "the refs stole the game" shite is pathetic.

boom ... no gunman on the grassy knoll ... no sec conspiracy ... hell, 74 and 84 both shoved robinson ...

Wow that was literally textbook defensive pass interference. That's as bad as the Corey Webster vs Bama pass int Dupre beat his man badly and the throw was on target. Pretty clear the DB thought the ball was coming earlier than it did. Holding his arm with 2 hands and getting away with it

For an Alabama DB? Absolutely. The rest of the country isn't fortunate enough to play without a rule book

My sense of humor has been there this entire time. Nothing else to do but to laugh at it. NFL made huge strides in their officiating after the Hochuli screwup. SEC still has Penn Wagers and Bugeyes patrolling the field

I haven't had a fresh melt since 2011.

Dude you can clearly see Dupre push off on Jones right as they are lining up to make their jumps for the ball. Jones also was going for the int so any contact he had was in doing that, adjusting to the ball. And they let both sides play all night on pass plays so it was consistent with the rest of the game.

WR pushed off with left hand first and yes, the DB grabbed his hand as the wrs hand was sliding down his arm.

That's why it was a no call.
