You might want to read the story again if you think that's what it said because what Sports Illustrated actually said LSU fans and head coach were bitching about the officating - with is really the same as saying the sun came up the morning after a LSU loss.
It said noting about the validity of those claims and also pointed out that no flag was thrown for the attempted sexual assualt committed by LSU's #84.

The article makes it appear that Vadal Alexander told Coach Miles that he didn't push anyone after the first down play on our six? So part of CLM's immediate post-game reaction was based in part on a false report from his player.

You guys just blew it. you had a late lead against a better opponent who missed a chip shot field goal and gave you an unforced turnover in the redzone that led to points for you, and we still stopped you

also, i rewatched the vadal penalty. the bama player is not even pulling on him, hes trying to help 99 up out of the pile. Vadal gets jostled and pushes, simple as that

Here's the unsportsmanlike conduct case that Miles says changed the game. Don't see how you can say that was the wrong call. Vidal clearly shoves the Alabama player. There was extra curricular going on with both sides, but everybody knows the guy who swings the second punch gets called.
Here's the final play. You see contact between both Dupre and Jones. The ball hits the defender's helmet and bounces before the other defender makes contact with Dupre. Again, the refs made the correct no-call. The video shows that Dupre's claim that Jones had both his hands is pure bullshite. If that was the case, how the hell did Dupre have both his hands above Jones's helmet? shite, if he'd reached up a little more, he could have caught the under thrown ball before it bounced off Jones's helmet.
Even if Dupre had caught it, they could have called holding on every o-lineman except the center.
