I like Alabama's placing. Defense should be very strong next year, led by senior Reggie Ragland and Jarren Reed. Talented enough to win it all of course, but inexperienced in the secondary and at QB again could keep us out of the final four.

UGA is way too low. I'd put them in the 11-15 range.

LSU should at least be in the top 10 despite an 8-5 finish. They have a Heisman hopeful at RB, deep receiving core, and return talent on defense. Also Death Valley is usually due an upset or two every year.

By that logic, shouldn't you be a few spots behind A&M, Mississippi State, Georgia, and Missouri?

does anyone else find USC's preseason ranking just RIDICULOUS? what was it, 2012 when they were preseason #1 and ended unranked?

This is logical especially since yall have dominated them since you joined the conference three years ago....Never mind, turns out yall are 0-3 despite having a Heisman Trophy winning QB under center for two of those games.

Exactly. It isn't isn't logical yet the Yellow and Purple can't seem to stop their constant A&M hate.

I'm kinda surprised we're getting this much love from preseason polls

We normally don't get any preseason ranking.

Finally getting some respect -

AU has a lot of potential to start the season and stay highly ranked. As the season wears on though, injuries and the grind of the SEC could start to show deep into the depth chart. Good preseason ranking though and JJ is the real deal.

I'm gonna have to get used to seeing us ranked like this again- right now it's a little disconcerting.

It might have something to do with the 4-5 threads that were started yesterday regarding a QB that needs a booster seat when he goes out to eat.

THis one is pretty close IMO.

Flip Arkansas and UGA

Then Flip TN and Missouri and I think you have the SEC teams placed about exactly where they should be.
