No way we deserve to be ranked with what we lost on offense.

Still can't figure out why they are ranking us that high with our offensive situation looking so unsettled and losing the guys we lost on defense.

Yes, Alabama is number one and LSU, Tennessee, & Georgia should be in top 25.

Otherwise, congratulations on posting the shittiest preseason top 25 ever!

Preseason rankings don't mean much, but I don't understand how LSU could be left out of the top 5, especially the top 10.

19 returning starters. By my count, 8 defensive starters/5 offensive starters are a lock to be NFL draft picks (many if not all of those in the top 3 rounds).

People will inevitably point to the QB, but contrary to Rant belief, he looked very good before his injury and will have another year of experience under his belt. I'm not normally optimistic when it comes to LSU. I still think we lose at least 1, likely two games, but it's tough to find a more talented team right now.

Entertainment Value Only. SN wants people to buy their magazines and online services. September is like a bunch of first-dates the entire month. Can't tell who's serious about getting some until four or five tussles.

I'm objective. This is the first year since 2012 I have high pre-season expectations. I listed my reasoning and it isn't biased.

OSU should be in the 8-12 range pre-season IMO. They will be good, but are losing likely 12-15 draft picks. That should hurt a bit. They may be the best team in the country, but they certainly shouldn't start preseason top 5 based on unproven talent

Hope we drop to #2-3, we never win one if we are pre-season #1
