SEC, Georgia, LSU most represented on 2015 NFL Pro Bowl rosters
By Chip Patterson / Staff Writer
December 23, 2015 02:02 PM ET
The SEC has led the way in recent years with players selected in the NFL Draft, so it should come as no surprise to see the league leading the way in Pro Bowl selections as well.
With 19 players named to the NFL's Pro Bowl rosters on Tuesday, the SEC leads all other college football conferences in number of former players named to the 2015 Pro Bowl. The Pac-12 (14), ACC (12) and Big Ten (11) all have double-digit representations on the initial Pro Bowl rosters while the Big 12, at somewhat of a disadvantage based on conference size, finished last among the Power Five leagues with nine Pro Bowlers.
But there is even competition within in the SEC, where LSU and Georgia tied for the most Pro Bowl selections among all schools with five each.
LSU: Tyrann Mathieu, Patrick Peterson, Odell Beckham Jr., Trai Turner and Andrew Whitworth
Georgia: Todd Gurley, A.J. Green, Thomas Davis, Justin Houston and Geno Atkins.
Check out the full school-by-school breakdown:
Five: Georgia, LSU
Four: Pitt, USC, Wisconsin
Three: Oklahoma
Two: Cal, Central Michigan, Coastal Carolina, Florida, Kansas, Kansas State, Miami (FL), Michigan, Notre Dame, Penn State, Stanford, Texas, A&M, UCF, Washington
One: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Auburn, Boise State, Boston College, Buffalo, BYU, Cincinnati, Clemson, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Idaho, Iowa, Memphis, Miami (OH), Mississippi State, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Oregon, Oregon State, Presbyterian, Purdue, Southern Miss, Syracuse, Temple, Texas, Texas A&M , Troy, Tennessee, UCLA, Utah State, Virginia Tech, West Alabama

Julio Jones and Amari Cooper are both Pro Bowlers this year.
Again, it's quite humorous that the Pro Bowl selections are now the talking piece for the LSU fanbase. Didn't hear much about it last year when Bama led the nation in number of Pro Bowlers. I wonder why.

And I wonder why you care now, Bama fans do not care about the NFL.

This is a thread started about Bama players in the NFL by an LSU fan, FWIW.
Why do LSU fans give a shite what former Bama players do in the NFL?

The OP's underlying premise seems to be that LSU has more talented players than Alabama because of their great success in the NFL.
I guess that is why LSU has dominated the SEC and College Football for the last seven years.

Because they use up less success juice during college than BAMA players
That was truly the perfect reply and should have ended the thread.

Because Bama players actually fight to win while in college while the lsu ones just wait on their checks to clear.

Well, he certainly can't use LSU's on the field performance as a way to rustle thy jimmehs.

So last year Alabama players succeeded more in the NFL than LSU I guess
Alabama - 3
LSU - 2
Hang the banner?
