I thought '86 team was better.Vinnie Testaverde,Highsmith and Jerome Brown were
3 of the top 9 players taken in the draft.

Jimmy Johnson did not have one of his better
coaching efforts vs Penn State in the
Fiesta Bowl.

I put the 87 Hurricanes earlier

I was a kid and don't remember much, but I do remember asking my grandpa if it was ever going to stop. At that time, Arkansas did not lose very often in Little Rock, and didn't lose very often at all. 87 was a 4 loss season for the Hogs, but Hatfield had them rolling pretty good.

The 86 team was the best CFB team I have ever seen. They were better than the NU teams with Frazier IMO, because they could beat you running, throwing, or defense.

The 93 FSU team is probably the only team that may come close to that Miami team as far as talent.

93 FSU was gifted the Orange Bowl that ending was so rigged.

2001 Miami team is better than them. They had some 12-15 future pro bowlers on that team and 17 RD1 picks

1986 Penn State (I was a student and went to every home game)

Recent odd-year Bama teams in Starkville

Over the years I have seen many 45-0 SEC losses in Starkville but the opposition may or may not have been that good. I'd have to look them up.

I agree, but i didn't see the '86 team in person. Either way, those teams were straight up nasty. All of them.

Ok. Maybe i'm getting my years confused. That TD drive started at their own 2-3 yard line. And they went 97 yards in 3 plays. Either way, we got dealt wit.

He openly admits it was one of his worst coaching jobs.
He played right into PSU's hands by trying to force his passing game.PSU played a 3 man front with deep drops by the LB's and confused Vinny all night. They could and should have run the ball all night with Highsmith and Bratton in the backfield.

03 USC Trojans - stomped our arse on our grass and sent us into a 2-game funk. Reggie Bush, Lindale White, Matt Leinart, Troy Polamalu, Lofa Tatupu.

87 FSU - we were #8, they were #4 and they came into JHS and beat us like a rented mule 34-7. Neon Deion and crew. My Freshman year.

92 Turds- Nasty D with Antonio Langham, Teague, and those two man-child defensive ends Curry and Copeland. 17-0. Depressing ride home from bammerham that night.

07 UGA- that team doesn't get a lot of credit but I thought they were by far the best team in the country at the end of season. Stafford, Moreno, AJ Green.

*11 LSU and Alabama - * because both were great, both I saw live, but we were so horrific that it was hard to tell. We started Clint Freaking Mosley at QB. We got spanked both games

Red hot team at the end and could have beaten anyone, but AJ was still in high school in 2007.

In person. 1987 Ohio St vs LSU in Baton Rouge. This is when Andolsek and Spielman got into it and Chris spit in Eric's face and they broke out in a fight. Funny how they were both drafted by Detroit and became best friends. I think that game ended up in a 13-13 tie.
