Absolutely. First and foremost, any threat to Ohio State is great. For quite sometime now, Ohio State had a cakewalk through the Big 10. Michigan's (inevitable) resurgence, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Penn State, Nebraska (potentially...I really like Riley as a Xs and Os guy) will challenge Ohio State from coasting to the Playoffs every year. The Big 10 has the potential to be a legitimate conference. Sure, it's a little top heavy, but the middle of the pack schools (Iowa, Minnesota, Rutgers, etc) are not as bad as we think.

Is the conference as tough as the SEC or the Pac 12? No, but it may not be too far behind in a couple of years...

Does some of the good programs in the SEC have coaches with Big Ten ties and the SEC success is because of these coaches with Big Ten lineage?

I am. I enjoy watching outer conferences play each other and its interesting to watch a game where I just get to enjoy football and not have a team to pull for. And watching a sloppy football game sucks. So i enjoy it

Urban Meyer changed B1G recruiting. He came in and ignored the unwritten rules between the schools (such as not going after players committed to another B1G school). As the rest of the B1G follows Meyer's lead, the whole conference should be more aggressive with recruiting and improve just from that.

Yeah, I don't like schools like FSU & OSU being able to run over everyone in their league and basically become regional dynasties. When a team that has the same resources as an upper-tier SEC program doesn't have any competition, it will only hurt the SEC going forward in the playoff IMO.
