seriously. If Speedy was the starting QB for Aggies this year, you win 2 more games minimum. Sumlin

I believe the correct spelling is No Impact.
I'm sorry to tell you this but you're still spelling it Dupre.
Try it with me S P E E D Y N O I L.
You can do it.

No, my spelling was correct.

Why would the #1 wr in the country not be our first option? Dupre was ranked higher than SN

No he wasn't you moron. Speedy was #9 in the country and Dupre was #17. I realize 17 is great than 9, but that's not how rankings work

Your coaches are better evaluators of talent than a bunch of guys that haven't played football since high school?
You think if these guys at the recruiting sites were really that great of talent scouts that they would be working for 247 instead of a P5 school?

Nice moral victory.

LSU fans, will you admit that your school missed on a freak athlete, and instead chose a player that doesn't seem up for the college game's speed?
I'm not sure LSU was ever as high on Speedy as the recruiting sites were. I know a lot of coaches and people in the know didn't want to take a chance on he or Gerald Willis because they were a huge problem at Karr. If the brass at Karr hadn't had their sights set squarely on beating St. Aug and a possible HSNC, both Gerald Willis and Speedy would have been thrown out of that school. The new coach after Jabbar Juluke hated both of them. There was a lot of bad joojoo with both of those kids.
Trey Quinn seems to have been a misevaluation of talent but seems to have had a far better attitude. Sometimes that's more important than talent.

You want that to be true so bad. Maybe if you say it a few more times somebody will believe you.

Pretty much every LSU poster on this site has repeatedly said that Speedy was their 3rd choice at wide receiver,
If you're talking about the actual recruiting class, you're wrong, by a mile
IF you're talking about what he would have been on the team this year, you're right, he would have been #3 behind Dural and Dupre.
