Because y'all were ridiculously butthurt about it.

Most Aggies I know got more excited when either RSJ or Kirk signed.

Who as the bigger bust? RSJ or Speedy?

You tell me.

Ricky Seals-Jones (2013*-2016): 123 catches, 1442 yards, 10 TD

*Granted a medical redshirt after tearing his ACL on his only catch of the 2013 season

Speedy Noil (2014-2016): 88 catches, 1134 yards, 9 TD, 1 rush, 10 yards, 43 kick returns, 990 yards, 17 punt returns, 197 yards

Oh of course, not saying we shouldn't. But don't act like your fans didn't care when he committed to A&M or you "didn't want him". That's absurd. We deserve all the other shite talking about how he busted though

He played with too much fear to a guy who basically was perfect for doing what Jimmy Graham did for the Saints.

Behind only Mike Evans, Josh Reynolds, Malcome Kennedy, Uzoma Nwachukwu, Christian Kirk, Travis Labhart, Derel Walker, Jeff Fuller, Ryan Swope, Ryan Tannehill, Terrence Murphy, Robert Ferguson, Martellus Bennett, Chris Cole, Bethel Johnson, Dan Campbell...

Don't see how any team picks him between the lack of performance on the field and drug problems off the field. Do they drug test at the combine? If so Speedy is fricked.

So A&M is losing 7 receivers now? Hot damn, that's a bundle

Half of that recruiting class was receivers. It was inevitable.

Weedy, the Aggies only "win" over LSU in Football in the last 22 years. Shows you have to be pretty high all the time to pick Faggie over a powerhouse from you own state.

Maybe I missed it, but I haven't seen anyone deny that LSU fans wanted him

Y'all made way bigger of a deal out of it. Which is to be expected, since you stole him out of LA.

Now it's our turn, because he sucked so badly. Like, should have pulled a Quinn and transferred kind of sucked. They don't care about the pots at EMCC/AU.

Edward Pope's (2012) recruiting class had 19 total commits, of which 18 signed. Of those, 4 were or played wide receiver. 4/18 is not half. (22.2%)

The 2013 recruiting class, which had Ricky Seals-Jones and Jeremy Tabuyo, had 32 commits, of which 31 signed. Of those, 6 were or played WR and 1 was a TE. 6/31 is not half. (19.4%) Neither is 7/31 (22.6%)

The 2014 recruiting class, which had Josh Reynolds, Speedy Noil, and Frank Iheanacho, had 22 commits, all signed, but one was a hardship scholarship. Of those, 4 were or played WR. (Jamal Jeffery is still on the roster) 4/21 is not half. (19.0%)

Boone Niederhofer was a walk-on who received a scholarship last season.

Please, enlighten us which receiving class consisted of 50% wide receivers?

Yea, I'm sure had we let him go gracefully the wonderful aggy posters on this site full of rainbows and sunshine wouldn't have given us a hard time

Gimme a break

You've been hard to take seriously lately

Anyways, Noil sucks. Dupre will be drafted ahead of him, and he played at 0 offense LSU. Just like every other LSU WR, he will also outperform Noil in the league, just like Evans has been outperformed by Landry and Beckham.

He wasn't that bad, he just couldn't stay out of trouble and he never had a solid QB throwing to him.

You and the majority of your fanbase are incapable of anything resembling that statement.

It's not even a hypothetical, it's a ROFLthetical.

He had numerous solid QBs throwing the ball. Your staff just couldn't keep them around.
