i'm aware. my screenname isn't based on Tillman the person. i've told this to you countless times now. Tillman was a Democrat and there is basically nothing about his views that i find appealing.
if an auburn fan uses the screenname samford, i would assume it based on the building name at Auburn, not on the person that building was named after. obviously both the Tillman and Samford buildings are used by the respective universities as a logo branding thing.

Unfortunately Jefferson, though a founding father, was apart of a time where slavery was more accepted.

jefferson was a white supremacist too. you have to be to justify slavery. tillman never owned slaves, if only b/c it was not legal.
if you beat up on Clemson/Tillman, to be consistent, you have to be up on UVA and Jefferson.
i've already stated that i have no problemo with Clemson changing the name of the building.
