Chavis likes the talent on Ags D. That's what he said anyway. Houston Chronicle this morning.

Agreed. Why should Chavis be left to hold the bag when the offense can't put up shite. I don't blame him for leaving.

Come on Spurrier. Passing up Muschamp and Chavis to keep Ward?

Blah.

Do you really expect him to say different at the school he is now employed by? Should he come out and say that he has a bunch of slow idiots who couldn't even stop a faucet from running? However facts speak for themselves (from the same source):

quote:

Certainly A&M had more than its share of troubles defensively – ranking outside the top 100 in total defense for a second consecutive season

BTW, where did TAMU finish in the SECW?

Reading this makes me uneasy for a few reasons - first off - Chavis is not the type of guy to bash previous coaching hitches, it is not his style and he is a good man.

Second - if he is talking about how much he loved working for Miles, but still had to make this move, tells me that Miles has added another layer to that already stubborn head of his - and possibly refused to make any monumental changes on offense whether it be philosophy, staff or players.

What else would you expect him to say? His players suck?

I dunno if I'd believe that or not. I know it was Internet rumor, but I just don't know if I'd believe that or not.

Not only that, but Chavis sort of butt-raped us recruiting this territory back in the day, (for Tennessee), and he has a reputation that Spurrier probably wouldn't want to risk on his staff this late in his career with his legacy on the line and all.

I mean Chavis was well-known for paying for players outta this state - to the point where I think it cost him trying to recruit here the past four or five years especially.

So somebody registered a username Dianne Chavis on a website that lets you pick any handle and left a comment claiming to be her and we(or LSU Fans) are now 100% sure it could only be her and nobody else. Is that correct? I'm sorry I'm not too good at this LSU logic.

TAMU's most original concept was to remove the women in short skirts and replace them with boys in tight clothing. I'm convinced all supporters of Texas A&M are pedophiliac homosexuals.

Really love the school colors though. The SEC needed some dark red and white.
