in the BCS era, no team has won a NC with a new starting Sophomore QB. I don't think a team has even made it to the NC game with So. QB since the BCS. Has a So. QB ever won a NC?

OU with Sam Bradford came close or did I hallucinate that?

Ken Dorsey with Miami (only one loss) is another.

Weinke/Outzen were both sophomores in 1998. Sam Bradford was a sophomore in 2008.

Michael Vick made it as a freshman in 1999.

Incorrect.

Leak was the starter.

Bradford was a sophomore in 2008 when they set all of those offensive records, but lost to UF in the BCS title game.

Ken Dorsey was a sophomore in 2000 when Miami should have played Oklahoma for the national title.

The OP used the BCS era as a parameter.

And the OP needs a better thread title.

I still think Miami was the best team in college football at the end of the 2000 season.

Well, considering the OP was asking about starting QB's...

Don't be lazy, son.

I do, too, but I don't see how they deserved to get in over Washington.
