because the SEC is lazy. if they want to keep it in Birmingham, at least move it to the new stadium instead of keeping it in this dump out in the suburbs

It doesn't help that it's the 9:30 game either.
RV parking and the SEC headquarters being right down the road help. The contract runs out next year and I hope they'll play it in a few new stadiums. I want to see it at Turner Field one year.

I don't really plan on it. But it would be cool to play it in Nashville one year. New Orleans one year. St. Louis. Houston. Atlanta. Memphis. Jackson.

I think it's painfully obvious to everyone BUT the SEC admins...in BIRMINGHAM, that this venue has run its' course for this event. IF, one wants to GROW the sport....MOVE it around ! ANYWHERE, is better !

alright, then yeah might as well move it out of Birmingham. Literally the only thing the Hoover Met has going for it is the concrete jungle outside for RVs. The SEC simply just doesn't have the SEC baseball tournament venue high on its list of priorities. It works fine in Birmingham, so they see no need to go through the hassle, even if it could be better elsewhere.

Move it ANYWHERE else = vastly increased interest,more fans,growth of the event....and on and on and on !
