Notre Dame is too white to beat an SEC team, it is just that simple. Our white kids will be playing late in the third quarter.

It's true, what's wrong with throwing that into the mix. WE talk about coaches and QB's and all of that shite so let's just be real.

You're an idiot for posting these stats thinking they'd help your argument.

Sure. Lets forget the fact that they have different offensive lines, going against different caliber defenses, etc.

thats the point bro. the Bama OL is better than the OLs of the craptastic teams ND has been playing.

He rushed for nearly 1,700 yards on a terrible offensive team. They had a horrendous offensive line. But, I take it you didn't watch any of their games this year. He's only one of the top running backs in these mock drafts for no reason apparently.

ETA: Alabama played an extra game over Michigan State. Lacy padded an extra 2 tds and 180 yards on that game too. Take that game away and he averages slightly over a yard per carry over Bell.

Ok. Let's look into those stats.

1 INT vs Navy. A FR and JR have combined for 138 attempts on the year. Spectacular.

2 INT vs Michigan. Bama also played Michigan. It's clear who was dominate against them.

1 INT vs BYU. A QB who has a 13 to 12 TD/INT ratio.

1 INT vs OKIE. Solid INT from a decent QB. Congrats.

1 INT vs BC. They average 38.9 passes per game. 17 to 13 TD to INT ratio. 54% passer.

1 INT vs USC. Freshman backup QB ring a bell?

Seven INTs on a season is very impressive for anyone, no matter position. It's basically unheard of from a LB. It's extremely ignorant to put it down. And regardless, the original point wasn't even whether it was impressive or not, it was to correct the person that said he had only 1 or 2, which was a flat-out lie.

This is what happens when a team that hasn't had much success in a long time suddenly has some success. They think that what they're seeing is greatness.

I remember during Bama's down years, we'd have a year where Bama spiked up and, wow, they looked GREAT. But the reality was, they were nowhere near as good as this Bama machine that Nick Saban is operating.

Could ND win? Sure. Are many of their fans fricking nuts? Yes. When was the last time any of them saw a ND team that was good? So, how the frick do they even know what to look for?

Who said Alabama was that good?

You struggled against Ole Miss.

You could have easily lost to LSU and Georgia.

You lost, at home, to a redshirt freshman lead A&M team.

This isn't the 2011 Alabama team out there.

what the frick does an extra game have to do with yards per carry? that extra game where he ""padded an extra 2 tds and 180 yards" was against the #3 team in the country

I did because I have a frame of reference.

I notice you didn't answer my question.

Who couldn't stop a nose bleed. Their defense is ranked f__king 79th in rush defense. That's really something to be proud about.

Notre Dame fans cannot watch other schools play to develop a frame of reference? When they were average, say in 2005, they couldn't watch Texas and say, "Boy, that sure is a good football team." It has to be only Notre Dame right?
