You fricking idiots look at the free throw number and just assume it was lopsided, when in fact that number in this game is actually misleading. The last minute of the game, UT shot 8 free throws due to USCjr having to foul to try and extend the game.
The free throws were at 14-10 USC till the last minute of the game.
It doesn’t take away the fact that the largest lead by UT was 14 and for USC 0. Meaning USC never had the lead for the entire game.

SEC hoops championships are nice - we won a SEC basketball championship right around the time Arkansas & Kentucky went to a combined 5 straight Final Fours and won 3 of them -

Tennessee has been one of the best basketball programs in the conference for going on 25 years. Carolina basketball is and has been a bottom feeder program since it was created .1 fluke run hasn't changed anyone's perception of that. Your fanbase has been crying all season that no one takes you seriously and it's because you've been completely irrelevant within the conference and on the national stage through out everyone who posts on this forum's lifetime.
Baseball was the only Big 3 sport you could hang your hat on heads up against us and now Tennessee owns you in that too.
The announcer mentioned last night you were 2-8 in the last 10 or something like that and it gets worse the farther back you go , your 1-4 over the last 5 football games and you've lost 4 straight series in baseball. There's multiple SEC Programs that can talk shite to Tennessee - South Carolina unequivocally is not one of them.

So, looking at that graphic, the only statistical categories you truly beat the VOLS in were offensive rebounds (by 3) and FG % (by 2.6%)…

Did you look at the entire graph before posting? We had 2 more steals than you, 9 less missed 3 point attempts, we hit 84% of our free throws vs your 50%, and the fouls were the same if you take out the intentional ones that occurred in the last 2 minutes. This is on top of the assists, turnovers, and # of free throws.

Eh, I was on my phone and my eyes are getting worse every day.
The whole point was, the game didn't feel close as a Carolina fan. The stats said it was closer that the score. That gives me a little bit of hope for a rubber match if we meet in the tourney.

FTR - that 1 Carolina football win over UTK the past 5 seasons is the ONE that knocked the best tenny-c foosball team in 25 years from playing in the CFP
- there's nothing irrelevant about that - and we will talk shite about it for reactions every bit as comical as yours -

The refs let both teams play. Y’all don’t have the inside presence to keep up so y’all had to foul a lot of defensive series. Personal fouls were basically even before y’all had to foul in the last few minutes.
So I absolutely agree here.
That said, towards the end the touch fouls favored UT imo. That said the 35 minutes of basketball we got was fantastic physical basketball. We had our chances to make open shots and we didnt...and yall did.

Getting a defender in the air off a fake is not a dirty move. But when the defender grabs the shooters shoulder that is indeed a foul.
