im also guessing you didn't go on a sports forum like this one back then

Or, we could just state the honest truth. LSU was nowhere near the best team in the country that year, but would have won the NC if OSU doesn't miss a field goal. That wide right emasculated an entire generation of Swamp People.

Poor attempt at trolling.

Left off the SEC single game total offense record book owner and first freshman Heisman winner.

I left out Johnny Manziel because I was giving credit to Texas A&M for the offensive tackles they have had recently. Cedric Ogbuehi will soon be added to that list, FWIW (supposed to be a high draft pick). They could realistically have three offensive tackles taken in the 1st round for three consecutive years.

Wrong. This isn't a thread about PPG, dumbazz.

Arguably best RB and best 2 WRs in the SEC that year. Really don't even need to put Witten in there.

ppg, i would think, is one of those stats that kind of ... just kind of ... supports one's claim as one of the "better offensive combinations" in history ... decent vols team, but hardly one of the best offensive combinations, per their OFFENSIVE output ...

4,500 combined yards and 59 TDs between them, accumulated almost entirely in the first half as they sat virtually the entire second half of most games.

Yes...that was by far SOS best team. Demolished lsu, aub, georgia in b2b2b by average of 52-10 or so. Bama stayed close by giving up multiple SECCG offense records by uf. 45-30 final. Just about every record set in that game stood until USCe and Miz

One thing about the rematch is that UF was ranked #3 and needed #2 to lose and they did in the Rose. Completely different

It's still a terrible attempt at a troll, every time.
