Miss State. total dump.
Define dump. Is it as "pretty" as some of the newer arenas? No. Is it functional and made to look as nice as it can look? Yes. Will it hurt recruiting going forward if it stays as it is? Yes. Will it be replaced before Dudy Noble? No.
What was wrong with it the last time you were there? We haven't had 5,000 people since Rick Ray started. So overly crowded couldn't have been the issue.

I have been to quite a few of the arenas in the West and the PMac has always been my least favorite. The Hump is not all that bad. I don't think we will be getting a new one anytime soon as we just added on the practice facilities and coaches offices.

Coleman is honestly the weirdest place I have ever been in

Yeah I forgot about BWA. I'm okay with conceding that.

The Bud, TBA are probably tops in the league. Rupp, needs a little TLC and it will be better. History and atmosphere keep Rupp towards the top though, IMO. Bleacher seating in entire upper deck needs to be removed.

The outside looks like my morning dump.

Such a weird contrast.

I didn't realize it looked bad on the outside.

I thought Stegeman Mausoleum would win this contest going away.

What's so odd about Coleman?

Stegeman isn't a great venue but it's not the worst either. The outside actually looks really nice and the inside, while very dated and smaller than it should be, at least has decent sightlines and looks like a basketball arena.

Supposedly we're finally going to update the inside sometime soon, including getting rid of the giant scoreboard on the wall and replacing it with a hanging jumbotron like most arenas.

I'd rank (from Worst)

Stegeman Coliseum (UGA)
Coleman Coliseum (Bama)
Memorial Gymnasium (Vandy)
Humphrey Coliseum (Miss St)

Please, share with us how many of those you've been to before?

Stegeman isn't world class by any stretch but it DAMN sure isn't the worst arena in the league. Bama is far worse just that I can personally attest to, and I imagine there's a few more that are worse as well just based on what I've seen on tv or pictures of.

Too large, seats around 16k I believe.

Seats are too far away from the court.

The place is oddly shaped, not very arena-like

I think the atmosphere just sucks in general due to the shitty layout

Only plus I see is that the concourses are nice and they added a video board above mid court a few years ago

Rupp is a run down PoS, too. It should be in the discussion.

The plaza is extremely nice and the concourses are great. Then you step in and it's like, "well, shite." Though the last game I went was last season and the PA asked fans to move forward to the empty seats at halftime. Quite different from the atmosphere I grew up going to in the Gottfried days
