41-13. Manziel's performance was so shitty that it made Taylor Bertolet miss ANOTHER extra point.

5-6? He missed seven. (69 for 76) Add the 9 field goals he missed (13 for 22) and he missed sixteen total kicks.

Well that doesn't really matter now. We are completely fricked. I wish we would just scrap the team and pull the plug on Kyle Field construction plans and focus all of our efforts on baseball, basketball, and track. We may win 5 games this year if we are lucky. What did we get ourselves into???

No kidding. He even caused the basketball team to play like shite and the women to lose to Nebraska in the 2nd round...at Reed.

Honestly, I wish we could just skip this next season. Johnny is going to embarrass the hell out of us. You saw what happened after he had been on his post-Heisman world tour for over a month...he was rusty and had an abysmal performance and we barely scraped by Big 12 bottom feeder OU 42-13 in a pathetic nailbiter, embarrassing the SEC. Meanwhile LSU DOMINATED in their bowl game and re-inforced a sense of pride across the SEC with their amazing showing vs. Clemson.

Is that about right?

Honestly, if we just run the fricking ball in the 4th quarter of the Peach Bowl that game is out of reach.

LSU, you are lucky you didn't face us later in the season MF'ers. Johnny got progressively better (and more confident) as the season went on...and it helped that the coaches learned how to utilize him more efficiently. The Auburn game one week after LSU last year was the first game where he really started letting the ball fly and everyone, he included, realized...holy sh**, the kid can really throw the ball. From then on, he was a beast. Only game that scares me next year is Bama...just because it is so early and our young guys won't have much in game experience under their belts.

Manziel didn't have trouble throwing the ball against LSU. Problem was he kept throwing it to the wrong team. We were the only team with the defensive plan to shut his arse down.

I am more afraid of Ole Piss than LSU next season to be honest.

I bet you are.

Yeah, Johnny is having such a meltdown. Oh woe is us.

With all of the JFF wishful meltdown threads, this place needs to have a separate board for JFF meltdown, thugPOS, pimple faced, punk threads.

having one of his passes bounce off a receivers chest and a receiver just totally not running his route=throwing it to the wrong team?

You have statistics or pulling this from your arse?
Nevermind, you a TAMU fan, where statistics don't matter.

Well, as a die hard fan, I watched everygame under a microscope, usually several times. He did not really start flinging it until the Auburn game the following week and the rest was history. He really did not have much confidence in his arm until then...or maybe it was the coaches that didn't...or both. When you combine this with his ability to scramble and either run or fake the run and allow for separation for his WR's, which he perfected in the second half of the season (as did the WR's), the kid was unstoppable towards the end.

I am not making excuses, you guys beat us fair and square. Just be glad you faced Johnny when you did. At the end of the season no one in the nation could touch us.

Thanks for this. I really hate the coulda woulda crap, even when it makes sense and no matter which team's fans it comes from. LSU played a great game defensively. If Les does his normal magic with a mostly new defense and we see the Mett who played in the 'Bama game rather than the Mett we saw most of the year I think we have trouble in Baton Rouge. The only prediction I'll make for the year is it's going to be a helluva lot of fun watching. And BTHO LSU.

Just promise to keep the bat shite... it was such an enjoyable aroma in the zone that fine October day.

How you guys can eat with that stench around amazes me, but that is a different story for a different day.

You are forgetting a few...

And beyond those we caught, the left handed pass to Reid that hit him in the numbers... and the loston pic called back.

But yeah, it was that one bounce pic... only turnover I saw the golden boy throw

Not sure how many they win, but that offense goes because of Sumlin primarily. JFF is certainly a good fit, but Sumlin could replace him and still be pretty good.

8 sounds about right. You would probably get more Unders if you put it at 8.5

You believe the Johnny we saw in the LSU game was the same Johnny we saw at the end of the season. The same Johnny that threw downfield only a few times during Florida. I disagree. The kid evolved BIG TIME throughout the year.

He has always been a knucklehead. I don't think he crumbles during the off season or has a sophomore slump. The kid lives for competition and thrives in high pressure situations.

Outside of football, I am not even sure I like the kid to be honest. He comes across as a spoiled dewsh. But I am sure glad to have him and overall, he has been great for our University.
