Good grief...what has this world come to? Vandy fans trash talking in football???
UT should be ashamed of themselves for allowing it to go this far.

They cant stop it. You know why? Cause we give a damn now. We should be ashamed for allowing the Volginas to be anything

I love the confidence in A&M fans. Their QB can't keep his shite together and they still think they have a shot at beating a Bama team that has a bye week a week before the game AND is a revenge game for Saban, which he always wins except for like one time.

Why would we worry about a team whose never given us a game over which we didn't have full control?

Miss. State won 8 games last year. I think those people predicting 6-8 wins are going to be disappointed.

There aren't more than two conceivable losses on our schedule.

Don't jinx it man.
Somebody's gonna be a lot better than last year, my guess is Auburn, somebody's gonna be a lot worse.
Nobody knew Florida was gonna win 11 games. The Ags were a slight Vegas favorite in that game.

Auburn and Ole Miss are the wild cards next year. Both will be able to get into a shootout with you.
eta: And remember how difficult is was to put La Tech away last year? You just never know.

Well, if we have 5 of our main defensive rotation guys out like we did against La Tech you are right we will struggle against good offenses.
In all seriousness, who knows what will happen next year but it is a super safe bet that A&M has a ridiculously good offense. Maybe even an "All Time" level offense. Sumlin's system typically sees huge improvement in Year 2 and especially in terms of QB play. They are spending the Spring almost exclusively working on Manziel's passing to take it from very good to elite, forget the fact he led the SEC in Rushing last season. The talent all around him is upgraded as well.
The weakness for A&M is defensive depth. There is talent but it isn't very deep and it is young. If they can't gel that will be the weak spot, esp on the Front 7. The secondary should be much improved from last season (and it wasn't bad last year).
I have to laugh every time I hear the "Bama played LSU and were tired!" excuse though. A&M had played 6 weeks in a row and the Bama game was their 4th road game in 5 weeks.
The only thing funnier is the "Manziel will be worse next season" predictions. All he did was get better and better as the season wore on and the games got bigger. He knows the offense now and doesn't have to just improvise out there and play with half a playbook. Could he regress? Sure, anything CAN happen. I mean Clowney could suddenly forget how to pass rush too, I just wouldn't put any money on it.

Irony, I have yet to meet an Ag that hasnt pulled the....
"But but But it was his first game" about Florida and "but but but if it wasnt for some bad fumbles we had you" against us.
You played three good to great defenses and lost twice. 5+ turnovers in multiple games... enjoy third place in the division.

Yes ofcourse. A 4th and inches shotgun call away from losing to Ole Miss and now you are invincible.
Ofcourse if I held La Tech to 57 I would look over everyone the following year too

We ain't scared of Saban.

And for the most part you guys were extraordinarily lucky on the injury front last year - thus not exposing your lack of depth. A more normal year of injuries and you have an additional problem.

You lost your best offensive lineman and the fastest white boy in the history of the world :P . That is not an upgrade

You will miss Moore immensely. He changed several plays a game. You will be susceptible to smash mouth as there will be fewer long yardage plays due to Moore's TFL.

Almost as funny as it was his first game and gosh eventhough we didnt cross the 35 for 40+ minutes, we were a mere 5 turnovers less from winning.

Then I am not sure why it is so 'funny'. I don't think he will digress, but it isn't exactly splitting the atom to argue that a second time through someone might not be able to repeat one of the greatest individual seasons in history.

I actually think a bye week during week 1 and week 2 is a BAD thing. While teams typically make the most improvement between week 1 and week 2, teams that have a BYE in week 1 and week 2 tend to struggle in the game following the bye.

Honestly, I wish we could just skip this next season. Johnny is going to embarrass the hell out of us. You saw what happened after he had been on his post-Heisman world tour for over a month...he was rusty and had an abysmal performance and we barely scraped by Big 12 bottom feeder OU 42-13 in a pathetic nailbiter, embarrassing the SEC. Meanwhile LSU DOMINATED in their bowl game and re-inforced a sense of pride across the SEC with their amazing showing vs. Clemson.
Is that about right?
LSU, you are lucky you didn't face us later in the season MF'ers. Johnny got progressively better (and more confident) as the season went on...and it helped that the coaches learned how to utilize him more efficiently. The Auburn game one week after LSU last year was the first game where he really started letting the ball fly and everyone, he included, realized...holy sh**, the kid can really throw the ball. From then on, he was a beast. Only game that scares me next year is Bama...just because it is so early and our young guys won't have much in game experience under their belts.
I am more afraid of Ole Piss than LSU next season to be honest.
