The teams are separated by a single spot in the rankings, the Badgers have one of the best RBs and offensive lines in the country, its at a neutral site and LSU will be playing a guy at QB making his second start who didnt do so hot the last time he faced a Big Ten defense.
Im just trying to see where these 3-4 score blowout predictions are coming from. I havent seen a single LSU fan take this game seriously.
Im not assuming its a blowout. I think LSU most likely wins, by what margin makes no difference to me.
What I am going to assume though is that you're a bitchy pre-teen little girl that cares far too much about what other fan bases think

I think because of the LSU O-Line / Rushing attack versus the Wisconsin Defense. Wisconsin will not be able to stop LSU from rushing the ball.

What?
I think LSU wins, but Wisconsin is a legitimate top 15 team and could easily sneak out with one if Jennings cant make some plays.

If LSU had Wisconsin's schedule it would be ranked much higher than 13th.

This times a million. The only threat of a loss here is if we can't stop their rushing attack with our DT's. They sure as hell aren't about to torch our secondary.
I don't think we throw the ball more than 17 times in this one. Les is going to treat this like he did vs Iowa.

it'll be a good game for exactly 3 quarters, with lsu ahead most of the time ... then lsu will win by 14 ... their qb won't have to make any extraordinary plays ... hit a wide open wr or two, dump to the rb a couple of times, and hand off about 50 times ... lsu is better than wisconsin by a large margin ...

The last time LSU lost a regular season out of conference game, Wifi didn't exist

WiFi has existed for 30+ years.
It just didn't become commercially viable until ~2002.

LSU only averaged 4 YPC against Iowa. Yeah they ran for 200+ but they needed over 50 carries to do it. Moreover, take out Hill's 42 yard run the averaged drops to 3.5 a carry with longest run being 7 yards.
It was sufficient, but largely because Iowa's offense is complete dick and turned the ball over three times, two of which were inside LSU's 20.

While I think there are plenty of LSU fans taking this game seriously and most think a 10 point win is the most likely scenario, I'll indulge you.
Houston, while a neutral site for these teams is likely going to look like LSU West.
Beyond that, while Wisconsin has a fantastic RB and a good back-up to go with their solid OL, they are starting a guy who played safety for a year at QB and have the same issue at WR that we have (youth).
On defense, Wisconsin is replacing their entire front 7 while LSU returns what is probably a top-3 OL in the country and we also have a stellar stable of RBs. Regardless of who is playing QB for us, I doubt they drop back to pass the ball often.
Finally, there is that whole...not losing an opening weekend, neutral site game to an OOC opponent....thing.

this is true..but Iowa's defense last year was way better than Wisconsin's defense will be at any point this season.
