OJ Howard had 4 different QBs in his 4 years at Bama and 3 were 1st year starters. He also played with Amari Cooper in 2014 when he won the biletnikoff with 1700+ yards and 16. In 2015 Henry ran for 2300+ yards and 28 TDs. In 2016 Bama had a freshman QB that couldn't throw.

He was definitely underutilized, but he played with some other playmakers that took balls away as well. Kiffin liked to force feed the best weapon and OJ was always a 3rd or 4th option.

So you're arguing against someone that has watched every SECOND of every LSU game of the past 15 years with articles written by sports writers? So that means you have no idea how OBJ did at his time at LSU and just take a couple sports writers word for it? You're pathetic man.

OBJ had over a thousand yards his junior year and was drafted with the number 12 overall pick. Sounds real underutilized

Let me read a couple. Link me to some of these articles that say OBJ was underutilized.

Convince yourself. Your team was basically Miss State with a better roster. One good QB for a minute then you'll disappear. Much like Oregon.

ok i'm good with Clemson being the David of college football. makes winning more sweet

but Renfrow had good games against Bama too years in a row and he was a walkon. Mike Williams and Legget made incredible catches in the game. 4 WRs had 90 plus yards. Our defense forced a lot of 3 and outs. etc. our RB ran well and he's going to NFL. it was more than just the QB.

everybody watching the game knew Renfrow was going to catch the ball before Watson threw it, that is how good of a play call that was, Renfrow was so wide open. that was good coaching.

i don't think Oregon has ever had the kind of athletes Clemson typically has on both sides of the ball. they look good against PAC 10 teams but ....

Also, you're not getting the #1 rated LB. You're getting the #1 rated ILB, who is a 4* - while we have the best HS linebacker in America - Dylan Moses - on campus and Chris Allen on his way.

Can you tell me where those guys are from?

That Moses kid is alright. I never saw anything in him that leads me to believe he'll live up to the hype, but he is going to my second favorite school, so I wish him the best. I'm more excited about this kid that just flipped to us because he seems like he will fit in perfectly here.

He holds the record for most tackles in the Under Armour All-American game. I'd say that is something.

Clemson will still have a fantastic team!

But you will miss Watson, especially in close games late in the 4th. Like Bama missed McCaron (though I really enjoyed watching Blake Sims) and Coker. It's the experience that will be missed more than say raw talent. Still the ACC is between you and FSU.

I think he just means live up to the hype he had when he was younger. When he was a freshman people were calling him the LeBron James of football. There's a reason he slid to the lowest ranked 5 star in the class. His athleticism and ceiling are off the charts but he needs to work on playing the linebacker position a little more. I was more than dissappointed when I realized we weren't getting him though. Firing Les Miles did it in for us in terms of landing him. I'm sure he will be a monster at Bama and will be a first or second round pick though. I would have loved to have him.

Jacob Phillips is a God send for us though. We needed him BAD. some fans just can't help but run and gloat about getting a damn committment though. It's ridiculous.

There are 32 composite 5* players in this class. Dylan finished ranked #13 overall, down from #8 previously.
